My parts have arrived.
Post Phase Inverter Master Volume (PPIMV), Lar/Mar style like in the Suhr SL68 and Friedman's new Plexi amp.
The amp is usable at all volumes now, form quiet conversation volume to full blast.
The PPIMV knob is on the back in place of one speaker jack.
Elevated heaters at about 80vDC, did the same on the 2203x, much less hum now.
Small turret board, 2 resistors, 1 Cap.
In the sound clip you'll hear when I turn down the volume and boost it in post (DAW), the sound becomes less flat and has more prominent impedance curve tone, it retains almost the same amount of gain.
