Bugs are unavoidable, yes, but not because releases are rushed through the gates.

I said prematurely which doesn't quite equate to rushed through the gates.

The decision to release products (mostly) is shared between designers, sales, and management. I think some complacency has gotten baked in to release decisions based on knowing a free update shortly after release will cure whatever gripes the initial user base might have formed.

Funny thing with the expression pedals. I probably would use my right foot except drums were my first instrument, so my right foot is used to playing rhythms on the kick drum and my left foot is used to controlling the hi-hat open/close. For whatever reason expression pedals seem to function in my brain like hi-hat openings.
