Do YouTube guitarists get paid per whammy bar use?

Like seriously, guys. What’s going on. Every YouTuber guitarist I see these days is doing the edge of breakup, single coil neck, drowning in the Grand Canyon reverb/delay and can barely get to the whammy bar fast enough…and their basically doing jumping jacks on it.

Did I miss a memo? Is this guitar now? How did we get here?
