New Dream Amp Day (Two-Rock CRS)

Dude! I do that all the time with most purchases. (Which is why I made the joke, cuz I know I'm not alone!)
I do plenty of research before ordering something. But I like to watch demo videos while it’s in transit to get a head start on learning how to operate it or to hear how it sounds.

Dude, I came all the way here to tell you,
The Box Of Rock clean boost side is butter’s
with the Classic Reverb.
I remember that one to be my go to..to the goods.
& the KOT.

I’m going back to where I came from before that
jolly reminder cascaded over me.
Cheers for YEARS & f’n YEARS..

PS-
I’ve been thinkin’ a lot about your awesome new set up man..
-like a hot new chick in the crowd right before
the last solo of the night…

Be honest. How many of you research the shit out of a piece of gear AFTER ordering it? 😂

The empire strikes wack again..
-the Fulltone PlimSoul is butter’s with
TR’s, particularly that circuit.
Thst was a killer match.
I bet the Carl Martin Plexi-Ranger would be
awesome due to being able fine tune in the bottom end rumble with punch & guts while filling in the upper midrange in that circuit.
I’m thinking more about your new amp & cab
more then my own,LTFOL man!!

I can guarantee that my right hand technique is going to improve the more I play the Two-Rock. Touch sensitivity takes on a whole new understanding with a quality single coil strat.

The exceptional Mark VII clean sounds like a wet blanket by comparison. 💯

The "contour" knob can do no wrong.

Pushing the Master close to noon activities some kind of sparkle magic adding layer upon layer of even order harmonics without distorting. Oh so wonderfully powerful and LOUD! Dropping it to 50 watt mode to save my ears for tone tweaking this evening.

I'm going to need an amp cover. I'm sure dust and suede don't mix. :rofl
One word..dimension

Played with a few pedals that aren't presently on either of my boards (and had working batteries installed).

Tumnus - it does what it does, but the onboard FET does it wayyyyyy better.

BB Pre - Excellent for gaining up the Two-Rock with thick, crunchy distortion.

Super AT Mod - kind of redundant because the anp already does the punchy treble cut on its own.

Kalamazoo Black - Similar experience as with the BB Pre, but punches harder in the low mids and adds a nice touch of sag. It's not a MIAB, but it does something similar and equally satisfying.

That's it for now. Back to playing.

Edited: fixed typo for BB Pre :facepalm
If you go MIAB, look no further then
the LPD 87 Deluxe.
You can do it all and all the more of this or that
with that rad pedal.
The key with TR’s is blending the top-end.
The LPD 74 Deluxe is also super-killer and would be a stellar match.
LPD’s has that something in the quality of
tone & feel that TR’s also have.
The bionic blend.
